Materials

YARN Garthenor Organic Snowdonia Sock (100% Romney and Hebridean wool; 219 yd 200 m/1. oz 50 g; fingering weight): Green socks: Juniper (light green; MC), Ogwen (dark green; CC1), and Glaslyn (oatmeal; CC2), 1 skein each. Orange socks: Glaslyn (oatmeal; MC), Idris (gray marl; CC1), and Sundew (rust; CC2), 1 skein each.

NEEDLES Size 0 (2 mm): set of double-pointed (dpn) or long circular (cir) for magic loop. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

NOTIONS Removable marker (m); tapestry needle.
