Cushy Tushy
Keep your tushy warm and cushy with these stylish top-down trousers. Choose a chunky yarn or two strands of worsted weight yarn held together and enjoy the quickly growing seamless fabric. The sample combines Icelandic wool stranded together with a mohair boucle yarn for woolly warmth and fuzzy texture. Short rows raise the back to allow extra room for the booty. A wide leg gradually tapers down to a neat and tidy cropped hem. The top-down construction allows you to customize the pant legs to your measurements. Choose a vibrant color, add stripes, or select a classy staple like black or gray and then proceed to bust a move in your cozy bottoms.
Finished Measurements
25 (28, 31, 34, 36, 39, 42, 45, 48, 51)“ / 64 (71, 79, 86, 91, 99, 107, 114, 123, 130)cm waist circumference. 31” / 79cm size is shown on a 33” / 84cm waist.
Knit fabric has stretch so you can choose a size that is 1 or 2 inches smaller than your actual measurement for a fit with negative ease or choose your actual measurement and the drawstring tie will help keep the pants up.
Legs are knit top down so the length is customizable. Sample leg length measured along inseam is 26” / 66cm for a cropped fit above the ankle.
Yarn
Chunky weight
Sample uses two worsted weight yarns held together for a chunky gauge (Icelandic wool together with a mohair boucle).
Yardage
Approximately 670 (690, 710, 745, 790, 820, 855, 900, 930, 960)yds / 613 (631, 649, 681, 722, 750, 782, 823, 850, 878)m chunky weight.
If you’re holding two strands of yarn together to get a chunky gauge, you will need the recommended yardage in each yarn.
Yardage will vary depending on leg length so it is recommended to get an extra ball of yarn.
