It started with the buttons. These bright textured buttons from Jennie the Potter (http://jenniethepotter.com) cried out for a sweater all their own. They are small, textured and light as air. A perfect fit for lightweight sweaters.
There are two design elements that I love: asymmetry and organic, curvy wavy lines. Meant to mimic vines clinging to the side of an old house, the twisted stitch shapes curve around and disappear into the edges of this simple sweater.
Curvy Twisty Viney Things combines easy asymmetry and the flow and interest of organic textures. The collar is designed to expand and contract depending on how much warmth you need and how you feel like wearing it from day to day. I’ve chosen shorter, elbow length sleeves to make this a great spring/summer sweater. Lengthening the sleeves to 3/4 or full length make this a great transitional piece to be worn in the shoulder seasons, or layered in the winter. Wear it to the office, out to dinner, with jeans or a skirt. This special piece is a great addition to your wardrobe.
