Curl Curl is knitted in the round, with decreases giving it a tapered shape to sit snugly around your neck for maximum warmth! Knitted entirely in stocking stitch the cowl is designed to roll up softly at the edges.

Yarn Requirements
Approximately 208 yards/190 metres of DK/8 ply yarn.

Shown in Adagio Mills Alpaca 8 ply (100% Australian Alpaca; 104 yards/95 metres per 50 grams) in the Sonata colourway, 2 balls. 

Needles & Notions
8 US/5 mm circular needle, 16 inches/40 cm long, or longer if you use the magic loop/ travelling loop method, or Double Point Needles;
5 stitch markers (one in an alternate colour);
Yarn/wool needle to weave in ends.

Gauge
17 stitches and 23 rows per 4 inches/10 cm in stocking stitch, knitted in the round, after blocking.
Gauge is not crucial but a different gauge will alter the finished size, drape and amount of yarn required.
