Cupid the Bear is capturing hearts, will he win yours?

This pattern is an intermediate design and uses US terminology. A knowledge of how to crochet is essential as it does not teach you how to crochet, it simply provides instructions for you to make the toy.

Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished item. My Cupid is approx. 13cm tall (5 inches).
You will need:

• 2.5mm hook/C-2
• 8ply yarns/DK or Light Worsted > 25g of BROWN, less than 25g of BLUE, WHITE, PINK and RED
• BLACK embroidery thread or 4ply yarn
• 8mm safety eyes
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Polyester toy stuffing
• Stitch marker (optional)

Notes:

• Amigurumi is usually worked in the round and a yarn with no stretch is best.
• Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.
