It’s finally here! Enjoy an automatic 20% discount on this sweater through the end of January to celebrate its release, OR save 30% if bundled with my Aisling Sweater which was released on the same day! Both of these sweaters are so special to me, and have been a long time coming <3 I’m so grateful for your support and for the input of my test knitters, I hope you love your sweater!

I’ve dreamt of this sweater for years – a casual v-neck sweater, with a saddle shoulder construction and delicate shaping around the torso that makes it a perfectly casual-yet-elegant wardrobe staple. This sweater is very special to me throughout the entire design process, it has gone through three iterations of major construction overhauls before I was able to get the fit and shaping I was looking for. The end result is a dk-weight gauge sweater, with a hint of fluff giving it a lightweight but extremely cozy feeling.

This sweater is knit from the top down, with a true saddle shoulder construction, working the front and back separately (and shaped using German short rows, and simple increases) before joining them to work in the round down the body. The body hem is split, using a simple technique to get the back hem to overlap the front. Stitches are picked up to work the sleeves, angling them downward using German short rows before working in the round as usual. Stitches for the collar are picked up and the sharp downward peak of the v-neck is accentuated by simple decreases as you add length.
