This pattern has been designed to raise money for British Heart Foundation.

The arms and legs are made first, then crocheted in as we work the body rather than sewn on at the end.

Techniques (UK terminology)
o magic ring
o slst (slip stitch)
o dc (double crochet)
o htr (half treble crochet)
o sewing together
o embroidery – whipped backstitch

Yarn used
o Stylecraft Special DK in Lipstick (~90g), White (~25g), Black (less than 10g) and Lincoln (less than 10g)
o Please feel free to use different yarns, colours and yarn weights!

Hook used
o 4mm, adjust as needed to avoid gaps in work

Tension
o 5cm x 5cm = 10 sts x 11 rows

o Approx. 20cm / 8 inches sitting height
