This fun project is made primarily with two panels of mini C2C crochet.

A box is used as an insert to give your bee structure and form.

Instructions are also given for making the antennae, wings and stinger.

You could drill holes in the box and insert an LED light to use as a nightlight

…or put some weight in the box and use it as a bookend!

You could also choose to stuff the bee with polyfill instead of using a box to make it extra snuggly.

Originally designed by Nine Inspired, this design found a new home with Littlejohn’s Yarn in 2025.
