In Greek mythology, the constellation Aquarius represents a beautiful Trojan prince named Ganymede who was stolen by Zeus to be his immortal cup-bearer on Mount Olympus. This asymmetrical scarf is inspired by both the constellation and the myth: the cascading lace panels represent the wine flowing out of Ganymede’s pitcher, while the ribbing gives a nod to the parallel lines of the classic astronomical symbol for Aquarius.
