Notes
Yarn overs going from a knit to a purl are longer than yarn overs going from a purl to a knit. In this pattern, if you want your yarn overs to be more uniform you must change the way you work Knit-to-Purl Yarn Overs.
Instead of doing them properly (bringing the yarn to front, then up and over the needle) simply bring the yarn over the top of the needle from the back to the front. In the next row you will need to knit these yarn overs through the back loop to keep them from getting twisted.
You are essentially switching from knitting to purling the incorrect way, by bringing your yarn across the top of the left hand needle, rather than between both needles.
