Crown of Hearts Cabled Cowl
This cowl was designed to be a companion piece to my Crown of Hearts Cabled Hat, and created out of my love for cables and the way they can flow from ribbing.
It’s a somewhat close fitting cowl that hugs the neck, without constricting, while also covering the back and shoulders. This is especially good if you have short hair, or wear your hair up, and want to keep the back of your neck warn.
The fit is one size fits most, but it can be made larger or smaller by either changing your needle size up or down, or adding or deleting some of the ribbing (in 4 stitch increments) along the back. You can also make the cowl longer by adding a few more rows before binding off.
This pattern is both charted and has line-by-line instructions for the chart. There is also a photo tutorial for the decrease at the top of the heart.
I hope you enjoy this design.
