Worked in the combination of two DK weight yarns with vertically striped cuff and horizontally striped body, these gloves are basic but not boring. The gusseted thumb features an additional mini-gusset between thumb and palm that ensures a good fit.

YARN Two colors of DK weight yarn or mohair/silk lace weight yarn held double to achieve gauge; approximately 100 yards of the DK yarn for each color (so 200 yards if using mohair/silk lace weight held double).
Sample is in Rowan Felted Tweed in light grey and Madil Kid Seta in dark grey held double. Main Color (MC) is the one you will use most of -- it is the background color in the upper portion of the glove; in the sample shown, it is the lighter shade. Contrast Color (CC) is the one narrow stripes in the upper portion of the gloves are worked in; it is the darker shade in the sample.
