Crosscheck is a fun hat pattern, worked with cables crossing over checkerboards. The brim can be worked as directed (4”, worn doubled, which keeps your ears extra warm) or knit and worn at 2”, single layered. It is designed to fit a medium-sized adult head (although the ribbing on the brim makes it adaptable for larger or smaller heads).

Most fingering weight yarns will work for this pattern, and it works best when done in a solid or semi-solid, so the patterning really pops.
