These fish are super simple and super quick to crochet and make perfect little appliqués which can be added to all kinds of projects.

I used a cotton DK yarn with a 4mm hook but different yarn weights and corresponding hook sizes can be used. My fish measure approximately 7cm across.

They’re best crocheted in cotton so that they can be wet blocked for a really neat and crisp finish but of course you can experiment with all kinds of different yarns.
