Crocheted Blouse and Striped Skirt
The pattern includes the blouse, skirt and belt.
Materials for skirt:
- 1/2 oz. “blue ombre” worsted-weight yarn (No further identifying information is given for this yarn.)
- small amount plain blue worsted-weight yarn
- small amount of round elastic for waist
- #3 steel crochet hook (US)
Materials for blouse:
- 1/2 ounce fingering-weight yarn
- three snap fasteners
- #3 steel crochet hook (US)
Gauge::
- 7 st/inch, 11 rows/2 inches for blouse
- 5 st/inch, 5 rows/inch for skirt
Construction:
- The skirt is worked top-down, in-the-round, seamless. It has an elastic waist. There are specific instructions to make the blue ombre colors line up.
- The blouse is worked bottom up, flat, with seams. It fastens in the back with snaps.
- The belt is a crocheted chain.
Sized for a Barbie-type doll with the 1960s figure: 5.5”/3.125”/5”. The fit may vary on modern dolls.
