This crochet peacock feather motif called “Kekaa” is my own original design. It measures 8 x 10cm / 3.2 x 4in and I made it using 100% mercerized cotton and a 2.5mm hook.

You could use this motif to embellish bags, hats and box lids, to mention just a few ideas. I myself have made lots of garlands with this motif and instructions how to make one have been included in this pattern.

This design is suitable for BEGINNERS since it has clear written instructions and photos. All you need is a 2.5mm hook and be familiar with the basic crochet stitches.

The pattern is written in US terms, but the corresponding UK terms have been included in the pattern too. It is also available in DUTCH.
