Introducing Harry’s Bear, the cutest little crocheted bear you’ll ever meet! I made him with my nephew in mind, he always loved cuddly toys when he was little and used to have quite the collection of Ellie’s Craft Boutique’s plushies. Of course, he’s far too cool and grown up now to play with toys, but it doesn’t mean that I can’t share one of my favourite designs with you.

So if you can’t resist that cute little face, grab your hook and your everyday double knitting yarn and get crocheting!

For this pattern, all you will need is a basic knowledge of the amigurumi crochet technique, but If you are a complete novice, don’t worry! We all have to start somewhere. There are plenty of free tutorials on YouTube, so why not have a go at teaching yourself? And when you’re ready, this pattern is a great place to start. It’s straight forward and simple to work, with plenty of pictures to guide you along the way. I’m also on hand to help and advise, so please feel free to message me any time.

As a guide, your finished bear will be about 28 cm from head to foot if you use the specified yarn and a 3mm crochet hook. Our bear is pictured in cute creams and baby blues, but as he is made using every day yarn, there are many other options available, so you can choose any colour you like. Just let your imagination be your guide!
