Critters Kids Can Knit
In this article on teaching children to knit, Theresa Baker shows how to make a variety of critters from a beginner’s first garter stitch square. She recommends using a worsted weight wool yarn due to its forgiving stretch. Once her students finish a square, she takes their request and creates the critter, from lions to turtles and puppies.
