Creede CO
by Kate Agner
The stitch pattern for these socks was meant to resemble coal and smoke, but then when I started knitting them up in these colors they just became miner socks. A homage to my favorite mining town, Creede Colorado. The pattern is easy to memorize and will look equally good in bold colors with great contrast or in a solid and variegated combo. Work as identical or fraternal pairs! This pattern is a mini stitch sampler of knit, purl, and slipped stitches.
