Pattern Description from Interweave Online Store:
The designer uses traditional crocheted lace motifs as an integral part of this modern, slim and pretty V-neck top. Called Cranesbill lace, the squares are worked individually and inserted between panels of twisted stockinette stitch. Always attentive to construction details, Shirley has used a shaping method for the armholes and neckline that yields a smooth edge to accommodate a crocheted picot edging. A soft, buttery cotton makes the top comfortable to wear, and it looks as good paired with jeans as it does with a dressy skirt.
