Craft Town is a stranded colourwork shawl with a statement fringe to celebrate the 15th year of the Unravel Festival in Farnham Maltings. I took my inspiration from the architecture in Farnham, which is England’s first World Craft Town and therefore an appropriate home for a yarn festival. There are many variations of the herringbone pattern that feature in brickwork, tiles, parquet flooring, and now in this shawl. The stranded knitting makes the fabric super warm and cosy.
