The Cozy Puppy Sweater was inspired by the Giraffe stitch designed by Too Yarn Cute.

This pattern is written for my 6-8lb short haired dog with notes for adjusting it to fit any size dog. It works up quickly and will keep your pup warm on your fall outings. My Minnie loves it! It’s not super heavy, but keeps the wind off of her back. In wintery weather, we use this as a layering piece over her full body sweater when we take her out.

This sweater is not intended for prolonged wear. Puppies/dogs like to chew on buttons and should be supervised while wearing this sweater. Loose buttons should be mended immediately for the safety of your pet.
