This cowl is designed to be narrow, for a warm, close fit. The Little Bird pattern in the center of the piece, worked with 2 colors along each row, provides extra warmth from chilly winter winds.

Use any sock weight yarn (pattern requires 4 colors), or purchase kits from Stringyarns.com. Before starting, assign each of the 4 colors to A, B, C & D. Use colors as suggested, mix it up, or use your own colors to create your unique combo. Carry yarns up along inside of work, only cutting yarns when noted in pattern.
