Country Owls Wrist Warmers
by Wendi Cusins
Fingerless Gloves, Texting Mitts, Wrist warmers… Whatever you call them, these items are great. When the weather is chilly, keep your hands warm while driving, reading or even texting.
There are many patterns available for Owl Mittens, however, the stitch pattern used on these makes them really comfortable to wear. They work up quickly using Worsted Weight yarn (and you might get two pairs of wrist warmers from one 3½ oz skein). You’ll need 4 buttons or beads for eyes.
To make child size mittens (5½“ circumference and 6½” long) - use Sport Weight yarn and a G-6 (4.00 mm) hook.
