Cotton Lace Jumper
by The Land
This pattern is
available for free.
Knitting is fascinating when such lovely lacy patterns as the one illustrated can be made. When knitted in cotton, there are no laundering problems, for the garment will not shrink or the pattern mat together as in wool.
The charming double-breasted vestee makes it ideal for wearing beneath a costume coat. Finish it with little pearl buttons in the same color as the jumper.
Suggested colors are white, aqua, lemon, beige or pastel pink.
Materials: Coat’s chain mercer—crochet No. 10: 13 balls white; 6 pearl buttons; 1 pair each Milward’s “Phantom” knitting needles, No. 13 and 14.
To fit 34 in. bust. Length from shoulder 19 in.
