This knitted design for an over-the-body bag takes “Dishie” all-cotton yarn out of the kitchen……and out shopping!

The “Daisy Stitch” design of the body of the bag is separated from the sturdy double-stranded stockinette stitch handle portion by a simple border. The upper portion of the bag is worked double-stranded to add body and prevent stretching.

A single purchased handle and purchased or created tassel add just a bit of contrast and lots of interest!

Needles:

• US 8 (4mm) circular needle (40” (102 cm) length for Magic Loop)
• US 8 straight needles
• US 8 DPNS for I-cord
