Pattern calls for 10 (20 gram) balls in Maine Shade and 5 (20 gram) balls in Contrast of Patons Fairytale DK.

Can substitute any DK or sock yarn, check gauge and adjust hook sizes for different finished sizes.

Two good yarn substitutes I have used:

• Cascade Cherub DK
• Dale of Norway Baby Ull

Additional materials

Fine wool material or taffeta for lining to tone with Contrast.
