Shade: Golden Mustard Tweed 1216 x 5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 6) balls

YARN ALTERNATIVES
Cygnet Multi Tweeds Aran would make a good-value alternative for this design.
TENSION
Work 12htr and 10 rows to measure 10 x 10cm/4 x 4in using 5mm hook, or size required to obtain tension.
PATTERN NOTES
The vest is made in two panels, worked using the same pattern, that are joined at the sides and shoulders.
The cable pattern is made by working around the posts of stitches two rows below the row being worked. Once the pattern has been set up in Row 3, all raised stitches are worked around raised stitches. All htr sts are worked in the stitches one row below. Cable stitches are always worked on the RS.
Starting chain does not count as a stitch throughout.
