Corfe Castle
From Dorset with Love … a collection celebrating adventure, friendship, warmth and knitting - stitch by stitch, row by row.
After a long walk along the windswept coast we headed towards Corfe, a pretty village filled with “chocolate box cottages” and Corfe Castle, steeped in history. Finding warmth in a cosy chair tucked away in the corner of a cafe I took a moment to reflect on the day … with my cup of tea in hand I watched the light dance across the view from the window nearby bathing everything it touched in a warm golden glow. Pure bliss.
Just as the light glistened and danced, warming everything it touched, the eyelets in this shawl skip across your shoulders and the squishy garter stitch wraps you in warmth, hugging your shoulders and soothing your soul.
This shawl is a relaxing but interesting knit, the perfect project for those times when breathing into your knitting is just the soothing moment you need to unwind.
