CORE 1 MOD 3 modifies the CORE 1 pattern by adding contrasting color fade striping, combining mini-skein sets for the contrast colors with full skeins of fingering weight yarn for the main color. This modification uses 1 × 1 ribbing for the neck edge, hem, and cuffs for the short length sleeves.
