This poncho is light, airy and certainly colorful. The split neckline starts off your poncho knit, followed by increases, colorful stripes and an interesting slipped stitch pattern flanked by purl borders.
Knit this fun poncho from a knit kit or use up your own stash yarn. This is a fun and easy to knit project, perfect for spring and summer!
Blocked measurements are:
Neckline 25”
Height 18.5”
Bottom circumference 71”
Chest circumference 54”
Stripes section 8.5”
Bottom border including both purl blocks 3.75”
Yarn
C1 - 2 skeins of Linen, 197 yards of fingering weight yarn in a linen/viscose blend.
C2 - 1 single skein of Lofty, 280 yards in 7 portions of 40 yards each in various colors, textures and weights. See Page 2 for details.

Notions needed
2 circular needles in US size 5 (3.75 mm)
One 16” (41 cm) One 36” (81 cm) in length.
1 Stitch marker.
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Techniques used
