Coral Cove Scarf
The Coral Cove Scarf is a small, asymmetric triangle scarf worked through in a honeycomb brioche pattern. The models shown above are knit in sport and fingering weight yarn respectively, so you can see that it can be worked with different yarn types and weights, as long as they ensure the brioche pattern works well with it.
The model measures 160 x 35 cm (63 x 13.75”) but you can easily customize the size by adjusting the pattern repeats.
SIZES
One size: 160 x 35 cm (63 x 13.75”)
YARN
1 thread fingering or sport weight yarn
Yarn usage:
Lana Grossa Ecopuno col- 039 – 72 % cotton, 17% Virgin Merino Wool, 11% Baby Alpaca (50 g / 215m / 235 yds): 3 skeins

or
Myak Fior di Lino - 50% wool, 35% Baby Yak, 15% linen (50g / 200 m) - 3 skeins = 600 m
NEEDLES & MATERIALS
3.75 mm (US 5) circular needles, 60 - 80 cm (24 - 32”) in length
Tapestry needle
GAUGE
10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) = 22 sts x 30 rows in stockinette stitch on 3.75 mm (US 5) needle
10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) = 20 sts x 56 rows in honeycomb brioche stitch on 3.75 mm (US 5) needle
The gauge and needle size used for this pattern are only an indication and don’t need to fit perfectly. Just make sure that the yarn you have chosen works well with the honeycomb brioche stitch pattern, and preferably swatch the yarn beforehand in order to adjust the needle size, if needed, for the best outcome. Also be aware that a larger gauge will create a longer and wider shawl.
