Description:
The Coolbreeze Cardigan was born out of a desire to use one of my DK weight Palettes in the yoke of a sweater – a simple idea, with high impact results! I love traditional fair isle colourwork, but I really wanted to explore something a little different with this design. The colourful chevron rainbow pattern on the yoke and cuffs of this sweater is worked using slipped stitches, so though the result is a rich and complicated look, the execution couldn’t be simpler, you’re never working with more than one colour at a time. All the colour without the fuss, that’s my kinda knitting! This cardigan includes a coordinating slouchy hat pattern. I recommend knitting the hat first to get comfortable with the stitch pattern and to measure your gauge. A hat and a swatch all in one!

Materials:
3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins TFA Yellow Label DK Weight yarn in main colour.
1 TFA Palette (featuring Yellow Label DK weight yarn) or approx. 65 yds of 8 different complementary colourways (CC) labeled A-H in the order you deem most pleasing.
