Cool Toddler Set
The vest for this set came from a much-loved adult pattern. So then why not knit one for the toddlers? But then it was clear that the vest needed matching leggings!
I made my first set for a granddaughter and was chased by a woman who wanted to know where she could get the outfit. Unfortunately for her, this set is unavailable and priceless. But for us knitters, how much fun … to find sock leftovers, coordinate with a worsted weight yarn, knit for a few days, then watch the oh-so-cool toddlers toddle.
This Ravelry page does not allow me to mention that there are 2 yarn weights used for this two-piece outfit: 180 yds worsted weight + some sock yarn for the vest, 125g in a mix of sock yarns for the leggings. (Note that the sock yarns are leftovers, so giving the requirements in weight made more sense.)
