This written pattern is for a blanket measuring approximately 79cm x 103cm, but can easily be adapted to a bigger or smaller blanket. The pattern is suitable for a beginner and involves a one row repeat of the beautiful herringbone half treble (uk) stitch, which has a lovely stitch definition. The colours are worked in stripes and there is a very simple border. The yarn used is Stylecraft Special Chunky, but any chunky yarn can be used. You will need approximately 1000-1200m of yarn (approx 8x100g of Stylecraft special chunky yarn).
