Hi Everyone! Here is a hat that I designed for my dear friend Andrea. She currently lives on the West Coast of Canada but frequently visits her hometown in Manitoba…where it gets super cold!
I wanted to make her a hat that she could use in both places. One for fashion and function. This is what I came up with.
You can wear this as a slouch hat (which appears to be a very popular style right now!) or as a toque. You need only fold up the fabric to make a nice warm cuff (double fabric over the ears and forehead!).
I hope you enjoy this hat. I am considering designing this is different sizes…
The pattern is very simple.
The yarn I used is worsted weight;however, wpi is 14.
