Sneaker style slippers.

Knitted flat - the easiest Converse style slipper pattern out there.

There are 5 different sizes, and patterns for 2 different sizes.
A 4mm needle with 8ply yarn
AND a 5mm needle with 10ply yarn

You will need 2 balls of yarn - one in white, and one in the colour you want as the main shade. And a wee bit of black for the racing stripe.
