An ordinary cardigan, knitted in an unusual way!

About the Contra design …
A plain cardigan in stockinette stitch. The front pieces are worked crosswise, from the center outwards, where decreases above the chest forms both the V-neckline and the oblique shoulder. Then stitches are picked up on the shoulders, and the back piece is worked top down, where the shoulders and armholes are shaped with short rows. The sides are knitted together and the 2 knitting directions meet. Finally, knit the sleeves and edges - and you’re done, completely seamless!
You can also play with CONTRA if you have a lot of waste yarn. Inspiration for colorwork in the pattern.
