This is a companion piece to my “It’s a Doily, Not a Dishcloth!” pattern. I’m constantly amused at the Unexpected Party scene in the movie, The Hobbit. After Bilbo laments about the dwarves using his doily as a dishcloth, he mutters, “Confusticate these dwarves!”

Feel free to use the finished item as a doily or a dishcloth.

Gauge isn’t terribly important for this project, but the finished size if knit to gauge and lightly blocked is 9.5 inches diameter.

Best guess for yardage is a bit under 70 yards of heavy worsted/Aran weight cotton yarn;.
