This pattern is the result of a “happy accident”. Sometimes I sit down to design with a clear idea in my head, and sometimes I just start “drawing” with my charting program. This was the result of the latter. I really enjoy the flowing nature of this lace pattern, its confluence. :) These top-down, lacy socks can be worked two-at-a-time and include both charted and written instructions.

Because the stitch pattern is worked over many rounds, this pattern also includes two heights for each size. They can be worked to whatever sock length you want, but the “shorter” version will be better for shorter socks and smaller feet, while the “longer” version will show better on taller socks and larger feet. The dark green sample you see in the photos was worked using the 64-st, long chart, with the set-up and first half of the chart before the heel flap, and the remainder of the chart and first half of the chart repeated again up to the toe.
