This pattern was offered as an exclusive knitting kit from Biscotte Yarns until March 2026*. You can now purchase this design as a standalone pattern on Ravelry.

I designed this specifically to showcase the lovely Bis-Sock self-striping yarn. Choose a colourway with high contrast for a more dramatic look.

This pattern is a variation on the mitered squares concept. Half-completed squares on the front and back of the sock form concave hexagons (hence the name), while the missing tips move to the sides to fill in the gaps. The heel and toe are surprisingly intuitive, and the stretchy garter stitch provides a good fit.

There are 4 sizes. Leg and foot length are adjustable.

*If you purchased the kit and wish to add the pattern to your Ravelry library, you can enter the first word in the “Leg” section of the English version, with the correct capitalization, as a coupon code here. PM me for assistance, and please do not share this coupon code.
