Composite Stripes
Feza Alp Oriental uses a riot of yarn types, making it a lot of fun to knit. You’ll be working along in one set of colors and/or types of yarn, then suddenly it changes to something else entirely. It’s like opening up one of those surprise balls that you got as a party favor when you were a kid, and there were little trinkets inside what seemed like miles of crepe paper ribbon – you never knew what you were going to unravel next!
Are you the adventurous type who would rather make her own combination of yarns? Working with several completely different yarns held together makes for a great stash buster. You can have fun combining different colors, weights and textures.
