Mittens inspired by clue #16 of Mystery Scarf 23 They are the 3rd pair to be published in the ebook Companion mittens, with six pairs of mittens inspired by the scarf.

These mittens come in two versions: One with a stitch count of 48, worked using a DK weight yarn with gauge 22 sts to 10 cm. This gives you a size woman medium/large.

The other version has a stitch count of 60, with gauge 30 sts to 10 cm, using a fingering or light sport weight yarn. This gives you a size woman small/medium.

Other sizes: Working the 48 stitch version in thinner yarn would give you a children’s size and working the 60 stitch version at a looser gauge, could give you a man’s size.
