This sweet baby sweater is designed for simple charm whether worn as a cardigan or with buttons in the back for ease of dressing baby.

The Coming and Going Baby Hat complements this sweater and is free with purchase of the sweater pattern. You will need to add the hat pattern to your cart with the sweater - it will show up as free. If you’ve already bought the sweater, you can still “buy” the hat and it will automatically show up as free in your cart.

The sweater is knit flat and has an integrated tubular edging which is mirrored by the effect of the bind-off done in Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-off.

The pattern provides specific placement for the buttonholes. This makes knitting it a breeze, but if you’d like to lengthen the body, please note the guidance in the pattern notes.

The yarn quantity is given in skeins of Tahki Yarns Cotton Classic; note that the alternative yarns have different yardage per skein.
