Comfort Pillow
Pattern Description from Faith, Hope, Love, Knitting: “Although the class I was teaching that day was about how to make purses, I’ve used the beaded fringe gift to accent a pillow. I like the idea of having a peaceful lace pillow as a memorial of the comfort and support that came during a time of shock and pain, and I also wanted to highlight the beauty of the beads and allow them to shine. A pillow, especially one knitted with silk, is inviting and comforting, and can be enjoyed every day of the year as it lends beauty to a room. The lace pattern is pretty but simple to execute, with only two rows to repeat. I sewed my own lining to match the color of the yarn, but you could also purchase a small, plain pillow and knit the lace to cover it.”
