Cuddles Bear is here to bring a burst of colour to your little one’s playtime. Use bold yarn colours in knitted stripes to make your own delightful bright and cuddly bear. If you embroider the eyes and nose in yarn instead of using the toy eyes/nose, this toy would be a safe and beautiful handmade gift for baby’s first teddy.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the bear is knit in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES:
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN:
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 25g in each shade.

NOTIONS:
Tapestry needle, toy filling, domed buttons for eyes and a toy safety nose.

SIZES:
One size only - 29cm tall including ears.

TECHNIQUES:
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
