Colour Dipped Oven Mitts
Skill Level: Easy/Intermediate
Add a splash of colour to your kitchen with these DIY felted oven mitts. These oven mitts are first crocheted from 100% wool for felting and then felted until they become soft and fuzzy.
This crochet pattern calls 1¾ balls of Patons® Classic Wool, a ¼ ball of each contrasting colour and a 4.00 mm (G) crochet hook (or size needed to obtain gauge). The pattern uses the following techniques and stitches: the adjustable ring, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet and half double crochet 2 together.
The finished mitt measures cm 12.7 cm (5”) wide and 26.7 cm (10½”) long. Please note that measurements are approximate and will be affected by gauge, the brand of yarn and the felting process.
