This really fun and fast crochet blanket comes in 2 sizes. Sometimes when I’m in a hurry I like to do a carseat type blanket. With this size I find it’s a blanket that a toddler can carry around.

If you are looking for a more traditional size you will follow the directions for the larger amount to chain.

This new yarn from Cascade is wonderful. It’s a slow striped yarn that is perfect for the simplicity of the pattern. It ranges from traditional boy and girl colors, to nice neutral colors.

The crib size blanket only takes one skein of yarn, with just a little left over and the crib size takes a little over 2 skeins. You’ll have enough to make a little sweater perhaps or a few baby hats.
