Color Drift Scarf uses slipped stitches and color changing yarn to give a Fair Isle look, but only one color is used on each row. Knit in the round, the double thickness will keep you toasty in the winter and is a perfect project for the adventurous beginner and beyond.

Actual yardage used was 550 yards, 225 yards of each color.

The key to getting the most out of this pattern is your yarn choice. Skeins that have longer color changes will work the best. I used two skeins of the same colorway, starting them on different colors. You could also use two different colorways that are complimentary, just be careful not to use colors that are too close together. A solid and a color changing yarn could also be used.

Pattern is written out row by row.
