After creating the Dunes sweater model, I had in mind to make this pretty ribbing zig zag stitch on a collar.
The Dunes collar is available in two versions (or sizes) : a single high collar knitted in the round or a long double wrap cowl knitted back and forth then sewn with grafting.
Both will be perfect for mid season walks.

SIZES : size 1 (simple cowl) : circumference 25.25 inches or 64 cm X 12 inches or 30 cm height.
Size 2 (double cowl) : 12 inches or 30 cm wide X 53 inches or 135 cm long (adjustable).

GAUGE : 22 sts x 32 rows for 4x4 in or 10 x 10 cm in ribbing zig zag.

YARN : size 1 : approximately 310 yards or 280 m each of fingering and lace weight yarn.
Size 2 : approximately 550 yards or 500 m each of fingering and lace weight yarn.
The cowls are knitted with two yarn held in together.

NOTIONS : Circular needles sizes 3,5mm/US 4 (rib), 4mm/US 6, tapestry needle, 2 stitch marker.

Après avoir créé le modèle de pull Dunes, j’avais en tête de décliner ce joli point ajouré sur un col. Le col Dunes est décliné en deux versions (ou tailles), un col haut simple ou un col double tour. Les deux seront parfait pour les balades de mi saison.

Il est proposé en deux tailles : une version col simple tricoté en rond et une version col long double tour tricoté en aller/retour puis cousu avec un grafting.

TAILLE : taille 1 (version col simple) : 64 cm de circonférence x 30 cm de hauteur.
Taille 2 (version col double) : 30 cm de large x 135 cm de long (ajustable).

ECHANTILLON : 22 m x 32 rangs pour 10 x 10 cm en côtes zig zag.

LAINES : le col se tricote avec un mélange de deux fils : un fil de type fingering et un fil de type lace.
Taille 1 : Environ 280 m de chaque fil.
Taille 2 : Environ 500 m de chaque fil
Mais il est aussi possible de le tricoter avec un seul fil de type DK.

MATERIELS : aiguilles circulaires suggérées n° 3,5 (côtes) et n° 4 (corps du col), une aiguille à laine et 2 marqueurs.

Les modèles sont tricotés en Féline du “Le Chat qui tricote” et super kid mohair de Rico design.
